Volker Kaczinski

Volker Kaczinski (Katt) ia an accomplished saxophone and flute player who writes and priduces new age / world music. He has been studying music and sound and their properties as tools for healing and personal development since 1980. He is also active as a teacher of the fascinating vocal technique of overtone chanting.

FLUTELANDS
Flutelands is an unusual work, as it successfully combines traditional oriental instrumentation- Bambooflutes, Tabla-Drums, Tambura etc.- and modern western and synthesized orchestration in a smoooth and elegant way. Sensitive and playful melodies invite the listener to relax and take a break from everyday life. Volker Kaczinski developed a unique style of composing, which he takes to a new level in this album.
