If so you may qualify for investment via the Solent Records Album release package This package is for Island acts that are looking to release a professional standard, chart eligible album with the benefits of being on an established label with full registration of copyrights and performance data to enable collection of broadcast, performance and mechanical royalties. If the act can establish a core market for the album, Solent Records will advance the funds to make it happen. This investment will be recouped on initial sales of the album by the act. The act to provide the master recordings to the approval of Solent Records and enter a publishing deal on the songs included on the album. The package consists of:
On completion of the payment for 125 CDs by the ac, the balance of 600 units will be given to the act. The act will be paid a royalty for each unit sold by Solent Records physically or digitally. The intention is to recoup the investment as quickly as possible so that the next act can benefit from this deal.
